I am finally at a computer that will allow me to show you some pictures! Here is a sampling of where we have been:

This is Rusalka. She is a character from Germanic literature. At the turn of the century there was a ship named after her. The ship sank and everyone on board died. Now a statue of her overlooks the harbour of Tallinn to protect future voyages.
This is in Katherines Passage. Here is where some of the best artisans in Tallinn work. In it are workers in glass, silver, fabric arts etc etc.

These are three of the towers by the old town of Tallinn.

Well, opening up comments sure lets in a lot of strange types.

The photos are great, Ashley. I like the Katherine's Passage one with the narrow building above it. Great perspective. And the one with the towers looks so....medieval!

Hi Ashley,
Gerry and I love reading about your travels; if makes us impatient to start our own trip. I also like the picture of Katherine's Passage -- especially the unballanced windows.

I'm just about to leave work. It's Thursday afternoon. Exams are well underway and going well. We'll spend this evening getting ready for a camping trip at French beach, and I'll probably throw out your roses. They're getting dry.

Keep safe. Have fun. Bring me something pretty.
